After having lived a year in Barcelona from 1998 to 1999, my girlfriend and I decided to walk the Camino. We thought it was a good way to see the country and we didn’t have much money, so walking seemed a good idea. We took the train to Pamplona and started off on our five week Trail. Very much inspired by my father in law Minus Polak, who had walked the Camino many times. I decided to make a drawing every day instead of photos, and used earth, grapes, grass, red wine, coffee and seeds to add colour to my black pen sketches.
